Follow my journey to build AI-first habit as a content creator

There is so much I want to share on product management, mindset, Q&A with founders. The backlog is growing but every article takes time. I enjoy the process of perfecting each article but it’s time to find an effective way using AI starting today.

Step 1: Audio recording of my thoughts

First of all, I recorded the audio coming back from the gym using a voice memo. It’s easier since I think clearer when I walk or drive.

Step 2: Transcript of the audio file

I tried to upload the audio file to chatGPT to make it into an article and it failed. Either m4a or mp3 didn’t work when it says any file should work.

I googled and found https://app.notta.ai/ to get the transcript. It arrived to my email in 2 minutes. There are some mistakes such as “asian”, which is “agent” but it’s good enough as a rough draft. It’s naked train of my thought.

Step3: Write an article with my raw train of thought

Then I put the text into chat GPT to make it clearer. I already uploaded custom instructions so they know my style. I use a plugin called perfect to revise my writing.

Step4: Schedule my post.

My goal is to write articles in advance and post once a day. Let’s see how long it takes to get there. I chose Buffer to schedule my posts. The name just sounds familiar and it’s free to try.

So here we are. The first post with AI-first mindset. It took 1 hour to find the right tools, record/revise the article. More to come!
